Todays post sadly comes from my phone...the interwebs are malfunctioning and I don't expect a remedy anytime soon.
I expected this to be a winter beer, dark & fruity - what I got was very different. It poured a pale amber colour, smelt of caramels and malt. There was something a little sweet on top of the malt but I'll be dammed if I know what it was.
This didn't really strike me as a Sam Smiths beer, though it was enjoyable and is very drinkable I was expecting a little more. I've had to dock it a point for being underwhelming.
