Had a good lazy day today - still didn't manage to get over 6 hours sleep. I wonder if beer is related to sleep deprivation...I wonder if wine is, too - I'll find out tomorrow as my "free bottle of wine" birthday gift from Pizza Express expires and I'm definitely taking them up on it.
Anyway, we're here for beer - one not suited to this time of year.
Using my immeasurable knowledge of the language of my homeland I can tell you that Cwrw Dewi means Davids beer. It's a seasonal ale for our national day (no shit) - and it is almost as crap as it :)
The head quickly dissipates and there's very little carbonation - not something I mind as it usually just means there's something in the beer. There was sediment in the bottom of my glass - again something I'd expect to be a sign of flavour and there just isn't any.
With zero hops and only a slight malty finish this beer is almost entirely tasteless - I suppose that it is a good thing it isn't carbonated because you'd have to drink it at a slower pace, and that'd be awful.
After sampling the Pen-lon and Untapped my expectations of my local brewers have become a lot higher, and this one falls far short of them. I seem to recall picking more than one VoG brewery ales and if the others are like this one I will have a sad.

Apologies for posting a lolcat, and for rhyming up there...I know you saw it.
